Newspaper Article About My "4 a.m." Exhibition

Two Acknowledgments in 'Inside Hamline'

News about my 4 a.m. exhibition has been showing up on Hamline University's "Inside Hamline" page. First was the announcement of the exhibition about 2 months ago:

Concordia Gallery's Photos from the Opening Reception of "4 a.m."

Last night, the Concordia Gallery posted this on their Instagram page (which is @cspgallery):

"Last week to visit Steve Stenzel's wonderful 4AM exhibition. Last day is Friday, March 25. Masks are now optional."

I love this because the 3 people in here are a trainer from my gym,
a former student of mine, and a friend from high school.

I'm so thankful to everyone who came to the opening, and I'm glad I got to see these photos of people enjoying my work. I actually hardly moved around the gallery at all at the opening as people were constantly coming up to me. It was strange and wonderful.

Many MANY recent posts are about the exhibtion and the prep to get to this point, but here are a few related links going back in time: a bit about the opening reception, getting ready to hang my work, some final prep, and printing some images.

The show comes down on Friday night! So see it in the next few days if you'd like: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday!

The Opening Reception for "4 a.m."

Last Thursday night was the opening of my exhibition "4 a.m." at the Concordia Gallery. It was truly amazing. Here's what I posted the next morning on Facebook:

Oh, and here are 4 final pics from the day before the opening. The first 2 posted here I shared in this post the morning of the opening, but I never shared the next 2:

I joked in the post the morning of the opening that you'd have to come to the opening to see all the photos. Even in those last 4 photos above, I still didn't get every photograph shown. Oh well... I guess you'll still have to just stop by the gallery and see it for yourself...

At the end of the night, a handful of us were kicked out of the gallery as it was closing time (the sign of a successful event). I said goodbye to a few old CVA friends who I was chatting with in the gallery, and then I stayed outside of the gallery and talked to a former professor/co-worker and former students from CVA:

This post jumped around a bit, but I just had some images I wanted to share. Thank you to everyone who came out on Thursday night. It was very special to me.
